Norwegian indie folk-pop duo Kings of Convenience are coming to Hong Kong for the first time on March 25th
With their seamless voices and delicate lush lyrics, indie-pop duo Eirik Glambek Bøe and Erlend Øye are Kings of Convenience. They were thrust into the public eye in 2001 with a magnificent debut album” Quiet is the New Loud” which sold more than 200,000 copies worldwide, garnered strong reviews and a cult following. After a 5 year break they are touring the world in support of their acclaimed album Declaration of Dependence . Kings of Convenience is credited for spearheading the New Acoustic Movement. They are Norway’s answers to Simon and Garfunkel.
Renowned for their captivating live shows the duo have played to sold-out concerts around the world. Tickets to the Mosaic Festival in Singapore this year sold out in less than a week.
This is Kings of Convenience’s first tour to Asia, and the stage is set for a night of acoustic guitars, piano melodies, twin vocal harmonies, and the melancholic songs that go straight to the heart.
